KEITH SENIOR, the Sheffield Eagles' centre, will miss his side's Silk Cut Challenge Cup semi-final after being suspended for four games for his left hook on Barrie-Jon Mather in the last round.

Senior admitted striking Mather during the victory over Castleford last Saturday. He will be available for the Wembley final if Sheffield beat Salford next weekend, but he is appealing today against the length of his ban.

New Zealand will play Wales at either Cardiff or Swansea on 28 October and a Young England team in Gateshead on 4 November as part of their autumn tour. The three Tests against Great Britain will take place at the McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield, Bolton's Reebok Stadium and Watford's Vicarage Road, on 31 October, 7 and 14 November.

The League's acting chief executive, Neil Tunnicliffe, said the choice of Watford for its first major rugby league match was a strategic one. He sees Watford as well placed for the Rugby League Conference, which is based in the South and Midlands.
