Oldham are to play six of their 11 Super League home games in 1996 at Boundary Park, the home ground of their footballing neighbours, Oldham Athletic. Talks are also taking place with Manchester City about playing at Maine Road. Oldham's plan to use Manchester United's stadium was ruled out because Old Trafford is a venue for next summer's European Championship. By 1997 the club hope to be housed in a new council-built stadium near Boundary Park.
