Rugby Union: England name four new caps for tour opener
England will field four uncapped players in the first match of their Argentinian tour against Cordoba next Wednesday.
Sale full-back Jim Mallinder, Wasps centre Nick Greenstock, Bath second- row forward Martin Haag and Harlequins flanker Rory Jenkins have an immediate chance to impress and there is an early opportunity for Saracens scrum- half Kyran Bracken.
Phil de Glanville, the captain, is one of 11 senior internationals required for duty in the tour opener, which comes barely 48 hours after England complete a gruelling journey via Madrid, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.
"There are two aims [for the tour]," De Glanville said. "Maintaining our form and style of the Five Nations' Championship, and carrying over an outstanding Courage League campaign into this tour."
