AUSTRALIA MEET France in a one-off Test at the Stade de France today, in a match which should provide an indicator as to the potential of the two sides for next year's World Cup.

The Wallabies give new caps to three players - Chris Latham at full-back, Nathan Grey on the wing and Patricio Noriega, who played 22 Tests for his native Argentina, in the front row. The tourists have one doubt, with the stand-off Stephen Larkham, inspirational for Australia since making the position his own, nursing a knee injury and facing a late fitness test.

France have made two changes to the side that beat Argentina 34-14 in Nantes last Saturday, preferring Philippe Bernat-Salles on the wing and including the kicking expert Christophe Lamaison at centre.
