England slumped to their fifth straight defeat on Saturday as they lost a hard-fought game against South Africa 31-28 at Twickenham.

David Wilson, Ben Morgan and Brad Barritt scored tries for England while Owen Farrell and George Ford added 13 points with their respective boots, but it wasn't enough as a late Pat Lambie drop-goal secured the win for the Springboks.

England have not beaten them in their last 12 attempts which stretches back to November 2006 when Andy Robinson was head coach, and they remain the only side that Stuart Lancaster is yet to beat.

Tries from Jan Serfontein, Cobus Reinach and Schalk Burger helped the Springboks win their first game of the autumn internationals after last weekend's defeat to Ireland.

So who stood out among the star-studded Springboks, and were any of England's fallen heroes able to leave Twickenham with their heads held high?
