Wasps have made a record 12 citings of alleged foul play against five different Perpignan players stemming from their Heineken Cup Pool Six match on Sunday.

Wasps won the match 34-6 in France to win the pool and qualify for the quarter-finals. Perpignan, last year's beaten finalists, finished third in the pool and did not qualify.

The players involved, Michel Konieckiewicz, Rimas Alvarez Kairelis, Lionel Mallier, Bernard Goutta and Perry Freshwater will appear before an independent disciplinary panel hearing "as soon as practicable", organisers said.

Wales' most-capped forward, Gareth Llewellyn, has been put on the transfer list by Neath-Swansea Ospreys.

Llewellyn, capped 83 times and a member of the Wales squad for the Six Nations Championship, is joined on the list by his international team-mate Gavin Thomas.

In a surprise move for Spanish rugby, the former England A coach Ged Glynn has been appointed as the country's national coach.

The 46-year-old replaces Bernard Charreyre, an employee of the French Ministry of Sport who was appointed and then sacked without taking charge of a single game.

Ric Suggitt has been appointed coach of the Canadian national side. Suggitt, who was formerly the coach of the Canadian women's team, replaces the Australian Dave Clark, who stood down after last year's World Cup.
