The Sheffield Sharks have retained their entire starting line-up for the forthcoming season. The defending Budweiser League champions, they will be representing England in the European Champions' Cup, and in the World McDonald's Open Championship alongside the NBA champions, Houston Rockets.

MEN'S EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP (Athens): Group A: Italy 93 Sweden 61; Yugoslavia 92 Germany 79. Group B: Slovenia 94 Finland 72.
