Simon Binns, the England Under-21 fly-half who flies to the Students World Cup in South Africa with England on Saturday, has rejected a contract from Moseley and is expected to join Second Division rivals Rotherham.

Christiaan Scholtz has been ruled out of South Africa's one-off test against Fiji on 2 July and the tour to Australia and New Zealand later the same month because of a knee injury. He will be replaced in the squad by the uncapped 21-year-old Danie van Schalkwyk of Northern Transvaal.

Jonah Lomu will be back in the New Zealand team for the Bledisloe Cup Test against Australia in Wellington on 6 July. The return of Lomu, who injured a knee in the first Test against Scotland 11 days ago, is the only change to the side that beat the Scots 36-12 in the second Test in Auckland last weekend.

NEW ZEALAND TEAM (Bledisloe Cup Test v Australia, Wellington, 6 July): C Cullen; J Wilson, F Bunce, J Lomu, W Little; A Mehrtens, J Marshall; C Dowd, S Fitzpatrick (capt), O Brown, M Jones, R Brooke, I Jones, J Kronfeld, Z Brooke. Subs: E Rush, S McLeod, J Preston, B Larsen, M Allen, N Hewitt.

TOUR MATCH (Buenos Aires): San Juan 0 France 51.
