Speed skating: Ritsma goes for broke to take record

Rintje Ritsma broke the 1500 metres world record yesterday when he clocked 1min 51.60sec in the European Championships in Hamar, Norway. The former East German Andre Hoffmann set the previous record of 1:52.06 at the 1988 Olympics.
