CARL CROOK will defend his British lightweight title against Billy Schwer at the Royal Albert Hall on 28 October.

FRANK WARREN, the promoter, has had a pounds 5,000 fine quashed on appeal by the British Boxing Board of Control. He had been fined for 'interference' in a contract involving Mickey Duff, a rival promoter, and the cruiserweight Derek Angol.
