HARRY BRIND, the Test and County Cricket Board's pitches consultant, has been awarded a testimonial in 1993 by Surrey, where he is head groundsman. Brind, 62, joined Surrey from Essex in 1976 and was appointed by the TCCB to his present position in 1990.
