CARL SHUTT, the Leeds striker who suffered burst blood vessels in Saturday's match against Oldham, has not punctured a lung as first feared.

ALAN KERNAGHAN, the Middlesbrough captain out with a stress fracture since early November, will make his comeback in a reserve game at Hull this evening.
