DAVE BENNETT, the former Coventry and Manchester City striker, suffered a leg break for the fourth time in his career when playing for Swindon in a testimonial match at Yeovil on Monday.

DAVID LOWE, the former Wigan and England Under-21 striker, has left Ipswich Town for Leicester City for pounds 250,000.

LEE GLOVER, the Scotland Under-21 striker, has signed a new three-year contract with Nottingham Forest.

SHREWSBURY TOWN have had the capacity at their Gay Meadow ground cut from 15,000 to 7,500 by Shropshire's chief fire officer.
