BRYAN ROBSON, who has been absent since suffering a hamstring injury in a pre- season friendly against Celtic, is set to play in Manchester United's A team against Oldham on Saturday. Paul Parker, who last played in April, could also be in the side.
JASON PERRY, Cardiff City's Wales B international defender, is not expected to be fit for next week's European Cup-Winners' Cup first round second leg tie against Admira Wacker in Austria. He is still suffering from the knee injury which kept him out of the first leg, but Cardiff will be able to recall Robbie James, who missed the 1-1 draw at Ninian Park through suspension.
THE Notts County manager, Neil Warnock, who considered resigning after his side's 6-0 defeat at Millwall last Saturday, has been told by Derek Pavis, the club chairman, that he must sell players before he can buy.
