Sporting Digest: Baseball

DEION SANDERS, the two-sport star who plays as an outfielder for the Atlanta Braves and a cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons, has agreed a three- year dollars 11m ( pounds 7.1m) deal with the Braves to become a full-time baseball player and part-time American footballer. He will join the Falcons only once the Braves season finishes in October.
