Michelle Sutcliffe, only the second female boxer after Jane Couch to be licensed by the British Boxing Board of Control, enjoyed a successful British debut at the Royal Armouries museum in her home city of Leeds last night. Sutcliffe won the World International Boxing Federation flyweight title by beating Veerle Braspenningx, of Belgium, after seven rounds.
