Riddick Bowe will end seven months of inactivity with three fights in three months, starting with a 11 June bout against Buster Mathis Jr. Bowe lost his World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation heavyweight titles in a rematch with Evander Holyfield last November and has not fought since.

EAMONN LOUGHRAN, from Northern Ireland, has not been stripped of his World Boxing Organisation welterweight title, as had been feared after his withdrawal from his mandatory defence against the No 1 challenger, Manning Galloway of the United States, this Saturday. Instead Galloway has been ordered to fight the No 2 challenger, Angel Beltre of Santa Domingo, for the interim championship.
