Yorkshire have been forced to withdraw from next week's Harrogate Festival because of their involvement in the Benson and Hedges Cup semi- finals. Instead, an international XI will now play Scotland at Harrogate on Monday, with Northamptonshire meeting Hampshire in the second semi- final of the Cost Cutter Cup on Tuesday.

Surrey and Leicestershire have put their AXA League match at The Oval back to Monday, 13 July, as one of the teams will be in the Benson and Hedges Cup final on 11 July.

Sussex are to start their next two championship matches at Hove two hours later than normal in an attempt to increase crowds. The games - against Warwickshire on 17 June and Somerset on 1 July - will now begin at 1pm and finish at 8.30pm.
