INDIA reached the final of the Australasia Cup yesterday when they beat Australia by seven wickets in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

OXFORD UNIVERSITY drew with Hampshire in their rain-affected match reduced to two days in The Parks. The students were all out for 162, 191 behind on first innings, and Hampshire finished on 61 for 4 with Hasnain Malik taking three wickets.

AUSTRALASIA CUP (Sharjah) Semi-final: Australia 244 for 9 (S R Waugh 53). India 245 for 3 (A S Jadeja 87, N S Sidhu 80). India won by seven wickets.
