Sporting Digest: Drugs in sport
THE OLYMPIC movement yesterday agreed to unify drug rules and penalties. International sports federations could be barred from the Olympics unless they agree to abide by the accords including a minimum two-year suspension for drug abuse. Athletes who contest decisions will have to agree in advance to settle any disputes by arbitration and not by filing law suits.
