IAN ATKINS, the former Colchester and Cambridge United manager and coach at Birmingham and Sunderland, has been appointed manager of Doncaster Rovers, in succession to Steve Beaglehole.

ROGER MILLA, the Cameroon striker, is making another comeback at the age of 42. He is rejoining his old club, Tonnerre Yaounde, raising the possibility that he could be considered for Cameroon's World Cup squad for the finals in the United States later this year.
