FRANK CLARK made his first signing as the manager of Nottingham Forest yesterday, returning to his former club, Leyton Orient, to sign the England youth international, Mark Warren, for a nominal fee.
TREVOR SUMMERS, the West Bromwich Albion chairman, has criticised his club's Second Division play-off rivals Port Vale after a dispute over tickets for Sunday's Wembley meeting. Summers is furious that Vale are refusing to hand over any tickets which they fail to sell. He said that while Albion have already sold almost 40,000 tickets, Vale were unlikely to sell more than 22,000 of their 35,000 allocation. He wants the unsold tickets to be made available to Albion fans, but Vale have refused.
