NHL: San Jose 2 Calgary 1; Edmonton 4 Colorado 3.

The injured Nick Poole's overtime winner capped a remarkable London Knights comeback to earn his side a 5-4 victory over the Sekonda Superleague champions Manchester Storm at the Docklands Arena yesterday. Knights seemed finished when Stefan Ketola's second goal of the night saw Storm soar 4-1 ahead with just over 14 minutes left. But captain Ian Cooper led the fightback before Scott Kirton and Eric Flinton took the game into an additional 10 minutes. Poole, who left the ice with a suspected broken nose in the middle session, returned to fire the winner and condemn his former club to a third successive defeat.

SEKONDA SUPERLEAGUE: London Knights 5 Manchester Storm 4 (ot).
