STEVE HALE, Britain's Swedish-based No 1, edged out Switzerland's Thomas Buhrer on the second day of the Jan Kjellstrom international near Aldershot yesterday, making up the one- second deficit he carried overnight to win a record-equalling fourth consecutive title by 11 seconds. Scotland's Jon Musgrave came through from fourth place overnight to take third. Heather Monro, of Cambridge University, won the women's title. She was over five minutes ahead of Sarah Hague, from Merseyside, while Wendy Smallwood, of South Yorkshire, finished third.
