JONATHAN DAVIES has been passed fit to play for Warrington in their Silk Cut Challenge Cup tie at Leeds on Saturday. Davies returned from captaining the Great Britain side in the World Sevens in Sydney with a slight groin strain.

SALFORD have won the race to sign Nathan McAvoy, a 17-year-old centre from Eccles who made his debut in the club's Academy side last night.
