TWO officials of the international ski federation, the FIS, Kurt Hoch of Austria and Jan Tischhauser from Switzerland, are to be questioned by Hubert Vollmann, a prosecutor from Munich, who is investigating the death of the Austrian skier, Ulrike Maier. The two officials were in charge of safety at the downhill race in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in January, when Maier broke her neck. They face possible manslaughter charges.
