SPORTING DIGEST: TENNIS
The Scottish Championships have been brought forward this year in a bid to capitalise on post-Wimbledon enthusiasm. The annual event at Craiglockhart, Edinburgh, will run from 29 July to 1 August with the former Wimbedon finalists Roscoe Tanner and Kevin Curren already confirmed as heading the Seniors line-up.
