LAZIO can beat beat ante-post selection Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Uefa Cup semi-final in Spain tomorrow night. Lazio, who won 2-0 at Udinese on Saturday, are in cracking form in Serie A while Atletico, held 2-2 at home by Real Sociedad on Saturday, have slipped to fifth in La Liga.

Internazionale, who beat Vicenza 2-1 on Saturday, should beat Spartak Moscow in their home leg. Moscow, who lost 2-1 to Zenit St Petersburg on Saturday, should find the brilliant Ronaldo impossible to contain.

Borussia Dortmund are only seventh in the Bundesliga, but they are hitting form and might just upset Real Madrid in the first leg of their European Cup semi-final in Spain on Wednesday. Dortmund hammered MSV Duisburg 3- 0 on Saturday, while enigmatic Real are seven points behind Barcelona in La Liga after emerging with just a 1-1 draw at Valladolid.

Juventus, who overwhelmed Milan 4-1 on Saturday and are on course to retain their Serie A title, should make short work of Monaco, who beat Guingamp 1-0 at the weekend, in their home leg.

On Thursday, Chelsea could surprise Vicenza in the first leg of their Cup Winners' Cup semi-final in Italy, while Locomotiv Moscow, who beat Tyumen 4-0 at the weekend, might just surprise VfB Stuttgart, who capitulated 3-0 at Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
