The 1994 International Canoe Exhibition makes a return to Crystal Palace this weekend and every aspect of canoeing will be covered, both for the enthusiast and the newcomer. In addition to the 90 manufacturers, retailers and organisation from Europe and the United States, there is a full programme of events on the pool. The annual finals of the national canoe polo championship and pool slalom event will be held together with dragon boat racing. To complement the action the lecture programme covers subjects such as Siberian rivers and the delights of canoeing down waterfalls. The exhibition opens from 9.30am to 6pm tomorrow and from 9.30am to 5pm on Sunday.

Admission (includes programme): pounds 5.80 adults, pounds 3 children under-16. Lecture tickets pounds 1.20; Come and Try It sessions pounds 1.20 (youngsters should bring a costume and towel).
