Squash: Horner courageous to no avail
England's women failed to win back the world team title from Australia, writes James Leigh in St Peter Port, Guernsey, despite a bold attempt by the British national champion Suzanne Horner to become the first player to take a game from the World Open champion Michelle Martin. The Yorkshirewoman led 6-3 in the first game and 6-5 in the third before losing 9-6 9-2 9-6, setting the defending champions on the way to a 3-0 victory in the final.
