Star takes top billing

Media Star has been installed as the 12-1 favourite with the sponsors for the Tote Cesarewitch at Newmarket on 18 October, for which the weights were published yesterday.

John Dunlop's Mawared, unbeaten in his last four starts, is one of four on 14-1. Media Star, who just failed to complete a five-timer when a neck behind Far Ahead in the Ebor, has been alloted 9st 1lb for the marathon. Mawared has 8st 12lb.
