Swimming: Bronze for British pair
Great Britain picked up another two medals in the first leg of the World Cup short course series in Hong Kong yesterday but their performances were dwarfed by the young Australian men's squad and the teenaged Chinese women.
Adam Ruckwood and Ian Wilson added bronzes to those they picked up on Saturday but the Australians finished the two-day meeting with nine gold medals, while the Chinese women collected seven.
Ruckwood was beaten into third place by Australia's Adrian Radley in his favourite event, the 200 metres backstroke while Wilson, who won bronze in the 400m freestyle, followed that up with third in the 800m freestyle in 7:54.76, more than 14 seconds adrift of Germany's Jorg Hoffmann.
