Andrei Medvedev defeated the No 10 seed Felix Mantilla in less than 90 minutes in Hamburg yesterday to take the German Open title for the third time in four years.
The Australian Jason Stoltenberg, seeded No 4, earned a chance to defend his title at America's Red Clay Championship against the top seed, Jonas Bjorkman, by defeating the Belgian Johan Van Herck in Coral Springs. Florida.
