Tennis: Sampras beaten in Hong Kong
The defending champion, Richard Krajicek of Holland, upset Pete Sampras, 6-3 1-6 6-4 yesterday to advance to the finals of the dollars 763,500 Hong Kong Marlboro Tennis Championships. Today Krajicek meets Sweden's Stefan Edberg, who beat the American Todd Martin, 6-3 3-6 6-4 in the other semi-final.
Michael Chang trounced the New Zealander Brett Steven 7-5 6-3 in yesterday's semi-final of the Salem Open in Peking. In today's final, Chang will face Sweden's Anders Jarryd, who beat David Adams, of Australia, yesterday.
