Tennis /Wimbledon '93:: Wimbledon Challenge result
Mr Christopher O'Donoghue, of Woodford Green, Essex, is the winner of last week's Wimbledon Challenge. He wins a day out for two to next Sunday's Wimbledon men's singles final, courtesy of the sports clothing specialists Kent & Curwen. The runners-up were Corinna Jones, of Newcastle upon Tyne; Mark Staton, of London SW9; and John Gallagher, of London SW8. They each win tennis equipment courtesy of Lillywhites.
The answers were: 1 beat Bjorn Borg; 2 Virginia Wade and Sue Barker; 3 Billie Jean King; 4 John McEnroe, 1984; 5 Maureen Connolly, 1953; 6 John Newcombe; 7 John Feaver, 42 aces. We are sorry that the wrong picture was used to accompany question 7. The question has been declared void.
