Wimbledon Championships in numbers

Andy Murray and Serena Williams' much-anticipated Wimbledon mixed doubles match has been postponed.

The blockbuster duo were set to take to Centre Court on Friday evening only for Cori Gauff's match with Polona Hercog to run into a third set.

Tournament organisers were forced into a decision announcing the match would then be rescheduled with a slot early on Saturday likely.

That means both players will face something of a fixture pile-up as Murray is involved in men's doubles while Williams opens the Court One action against Julia Goerges.

Gauff has fast become a star of the week. She beat five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams in the first round and 2017 semi-finalist Magdalena Rybarikova in the second.

She then saved match points on Friday to come from behind and win 7-5 in the third. She'll now play Simona Halep in the fourth round.
