Just over 40 minutes to go to Sunday's showdown at the O2 Arena but you can't help think that Murray heads into today's match already on the back-foot.

The Scot has spent nearly three and a half hours more on court than his Serbian opponent, and twice set a record for the longest match in tournament history. It took him a brutal three hours and 38 minutes to overcome Milos Raonic in yesterday's semi-final. Djokovic, on the hand, swept past Nishikori in little more than an hour.

The Serbian will have the physical advantage for sure but the Scot has time-after-time proved his resilience on the court. Will it be a similar story today?

Eight minutes or so to go. Umpire Carlos Bernardes has arrived on court - just waiting for the players now!

It's not just reputation and glory on the line tonight. There's a salubrious-looking amount of money on offer to tonight's winner. $1,130,000 to be precise. Not too shabby.

The pair are in the tunnel limbering up, waiting for that call onto the court...
