British number one Tim Henman, seeded fourth, advanced to the second round of the Estoril Open after an untroubled victory Tuesday against Oscar Burrieza.

Henman, who is seventh in the ATP rankings, cruised past the Spaniard with a 6-3, 6-4 win on the tournament's clay courts.
