Peter Reid unleashed his 18-year-old striker on the Premiership on Saturday and was rewarded with a performance of rich promise that would have been crowned with a goal but for Mark Bosnich's acrobatics. Bridges scored four times in 15 appearances last season and Reid rates him an outstanding prospect.
