The quizzes for the qualifying round and the Final will be set by Simon O’Hagan, an Assistant Editor of The Independent and i. He will also present the Quiz at the Final.
Simon has set a weekly Quiz in the Saturday Magazine of The Independent since 2008. During that time he has set some 2,500 questions. For the past 10 years or so he has also been a regular quiz-setter at the renowned weekly quiz night at the Prince of Wales pub in Highgate, north London. In 2006, the pub published its own quiz book - The Prince of Wales (Highgate) Quiz Book – to which Simon was a contributor.
