The hashtags "#badcombo," "#mygrandma" and "#paranormalactivity2" have taken the first three places on Twitter's trending topics on the morning of October 22.

The Twittersphere is going crazy with the news that "Martin Freeman is officially confirmed to play Bilbo Baggins in 'The Hobbit'!"

Subsequently the terms "Bilbo," "Baggins" and "Martin Freeman" have shot into the charts in fourth, seventh and fifth places respectively.

The name of professional Russian tennis player Maria "Sharapova" is in sixth place as the news of her engagement to Los Angeles Lakers player Sasha "Vujacic" (in eighth place) is tweeted and retweeted around the microblogs.

A parody video featuring a Barack Obama lookalike has gone viral and sent "Baracka Flacka" into the ninth place on Twitter's trending topics.

The name of Hip Hop DJ "Bobbito" is in tenth place.
