Memes top Twitter's list of trending topics on the morning of October 28 with "#howcome," "#badconversationstarters" and "#thingsyouwishyoucouldsaybutcant" in the first three places.

The name of the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, has been announced and is spreading through the Twittersphere making "Dark Knight" trend in fourth place.

Both "PlayStation Phone" and "White iPhone" remain in the charts as microbloggers spread rumors and question if either of the phones will ever arrive on the market.

Micro tributes to the recently deceased former president of Argentina, "Néstor Kirchner," have lead to his name trending in seventh place.

"Thoughts and Prayers go out for Néstor Kirchner and family," read tweets, the majority of which are in Spanish.

The names of American basketball players "Blake Griffin" and "Monta Ellis" are in sixth and ninth places and "Tish" Cyrus, the mother of American singer Miley Cyrus, is in eighth position.
