'Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2' coming 2012, 'Dragon Ball' in 2011

Surfacing from a torrent of new release announcements, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is confirmed for 360 PS3 and PC in 2012, and there's a new Dragon Ball Z game in development among others.

Using a working title Dragon Ball Game Project AGE 2011, the Namco Bandai game is currently expected between September and November 2011. It will be on display at both the Japan Expo (June 30 - July 3) and San Diego ComiCon (July 21-24).

Namco Bandai also gave further details on several other games during a Dubai press event.

Fellow fighter Soulcalibur V is due in 2012, flight series Ace Combat gets a Call of Duty-style makeover in Assault Horizon (October 11 in North America, October 14 elsewhere), and hot property Dark Souls is on for October in Japan, September in North America and Europe.

Capcom revealed a June 28 release for the Nintendo 3DS title Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D, and promised crossover title Street Fighter X Tekken before April 2012.

Somewhat closer to the present day, Xbox 360 download Sega Rally Online Arcade is due on the console's LIVE service on May 18, retailing for 800 Microsoft Points - equivalent to around $10, €9 or £7.
