A bookmaker has stopped taking bets on the Queen announcing her abdication this year after a large wager was placed in Windsor.

Scotland Yard confirmed that a man was stopped at around 18:00 on Wednesday and was ordered to verify his identity. They have not, however, confirmed that the man was Prince Andrew.
