Wiggles: How did four ageing Australian musicians become the world's bestselling pre-school act?

In the necessarily virtuous world of your typical children's entertainer, the Wiggles' Anthony Field, a man whose teeth dazzle like Simon Cowell's, has just one skeleton in his closet. But it's a good one. Long before the 47-year-old became an integral member of the world's biggest pre-school act, he knew his way around an Uzi.

Readers' review: Sex and the City 2 (15)

"After being coerced into seeing Sex and the City 2 by three female friends, I reluctantly went. At least I was going to the Coronet in Notting Hill Gate, one of my favourite London cinemas. Being gay seemed to cause the most laughs, which made me question what year I was living in. Samantha and her menopausal symptoms seemed to me to be as funny as it got. What was I doing watching four ageing women parading in a never-ending supply of overly expensive clothes? I upped and left. I couldn't take it any more. It was the singing that did it. Enough was enough."

The feral beast: Hello! says goodbye to princes

A new biography of Princes William and Harry would, ordinarily, be just the sort of material Hello! magazine's serialisation department would lust after.

Joan Smith: Ignore the critics – 'Sex and the City' is still a hit

Lapping up a formula that needles men and cheers women

Amy Jenkins: Thanks, SATC, for making women look silly and selfish

I disliked the first Sex and the City movie but now, with the arrival of SATC2, dislike has been replaced by rampant hatred. Commercial failure (I wish) isn't good enough for this film – it should really be banned. It should be shunned by right-thinking society. It should be forced underground like some awful ripper-slasher, woman-hating rape-fest – because it sets back the cause of equality just the same.
