Seventeen people die in one of the worst mass shootings in recent history

Audio has been released revealing the dramatic moment police attempt to locate the school gunman in Parkland, Florida.

"I have the gunshot victim," one officer can be heard saying, while others were entering another building within the school.

"Does he know where the shooter is?" another policeman asks.

Seventeen people were killed in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. More than a dozen others were injured.
