Caitlin Moran, journalist and author of the bestselling feminist memoir 'How To Be A Woman' has won the coveted award 'Honorary Gay of The Year' at the Attitude magazine awards last night.
A clearly delighted Moran told Attitude, "There’s very little about me that’s straight. I like cock, I hang around with people who scream all the time and my ideal night is to end up in Molly Moggs or being at Horse Meat Disco at Glastonbury at three o’clock in the morning.”
According to the internet, other honorary gays include Madonna, right-wing commentator Ann Coulter, satirst Stephen Colbert and James Franco, a straight actor who often plays gay roles in films because, in his words “In this history of cinema, there are so many heterosexual love stories—it’s so hammered, so done. It’s just not that interesting to me. It’s more interesting to me to play roles and relationships that haven’t been portrayed as often.”
