Add this to the List of Topics Whereof Mitt Romney Should Not Speak: films. His comments describing the controversial YouTube film Innocence of Muslims, which sparked mob attacks in the Middle East as an expression of "American Values" have not got down well in the US.

In The New York Times today, Timothy Egan writes "Romney's craven attack was fundamentally dishonest, riddled with errors, and premised on notions that a kook would harbour. His response was no more accurate than the film."
