Naked photos of Prince William on the market
02 October 2012 08:17 AM
Another twist to the naked royals story; William Foxton, writing for The Telegraph, discusses how photos of Kate Middleton have boosted the fortunes of online porn sites - and reveals that pictures of Prince William naked are also apparently being offered to publishers.
"Newspaper pictures editors tell me there are as many as 270 pictures being hawked around, which feature both the Duchess and Prince William naked – only 24 have appeared thus far."
Whether or not any source will dare to publish more is difficult to say - despite threats of legal action from the Palace, a Danish magazine went one step further than Closer by printing shots of the Duchess of Cambridge fully naked.
Foxton continues: "We all know there's a huge market for celebrity snaps – and especially for nude or racy celeb pictures. What I didn't realise before writing on this topic was just how much money is available for intimate pictures of the famous". And the money doesn't sit with those who publish - but the online sites who benefit from boosted traffic.
