YOUR editorial is right ('Italian lesson for Labour', 3 April). The result of the Italian election is a warning to the Labour Party. Unfortunately, you do not tell us what the nature of the warning is.
First, if the left stands for job cuts and privatisation, as it did in Italy, then people will vote for real right-wing candidates. Second, if the rise of Fascism is not opposed on the streets, then the left is going to have a lot more problems than simply not winning elections.
